Meet the 2020 Sponsors

Learn about the generous corporate sponsors who make North Jersey Pride's work in the community possible. Shower them with love!

In May 2007, after years in the beauty industry and with a three-month-old on her hip, Kim Hammer, owner and master stylist, opened the doors of The Fringe Salon in Maplewood, New Jersey. It was time to fulfill her vision to serve her community and mentor other like-minded stylists in an inviting and creative space.

Kim has brought together a dynamic team of experienced stylists who share in her creativity, professionalism and enthusiasm for connecting with clients. She is both committed to furthering her own craft and to nurturing the talents of her team. Kim enjoys teaching Fringe apprentices and providing continuous advanced professional training and support for stylists at every level. In addition to creating an authentically welcoming environment in the salon, providing cutting-edge techniques and exceptional service, Fringe reaches the SOMA community beyond the salon walls. They host workshops and take part in and sponsor many local events, such as Mayfest, MAPSO Book Festival, Maplewoodstock, LTYM (Listen to Your Mother), and North Jersey Pride. Fringe also contributes to BackPack Pals each month, and regularly donates goods and services to all local schools.

By emphasizing individuality, hair artistry and connection to community, Kim has created an award-winning, full-service salon—with so much heart and epic style. She is a proud LGBTQ Ally and supporter of North Jersey Pride!

East Coast Plastic Surgery

ECAPS is not a group of surgeons built on a foundation of convenience, rather a harmonious team assembled by design. While each partner possesses a skill set worthy of its own praise, together this exceptional team of surgeons will wrap their arms around the needs of any patient, literally, from head to toe.

In November 2019, the practice welcomed Dr. Jonathan Keith a fellowship-trained and board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in microvascular surgery. He is a member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health and founder of the Rutgers Center for Transgender Health.

In 2018, Dr Keith founded the first multidisciplinary clinical program for transgender patients in New Jersey.  That year, Dr. Keith was the first surgeon in the state to perform a female-to-male phalloplasty for gender affirmation. He has gone on to pioneer and publish his research into novel techniques, outcomes and insurance coverage of gender affirming surgery.

Additional Information

This is a long form text area designed for your content that you can fill up with as many words as your heart desires. You can write articles, long mission statements, company policies, executive profiles, company awards/distinctions, office locations, shareholder reports, whitepapers, media mentions and other pieces of content that don’t fit into a shorter, more succinct space.

Articles – Good topics for articles include anything related to your company – recent changes to operations, the latest company softball game – or the industry you’re in. General business trends (think national and even international) are great article fodder, too.

Mission statements – You can tell a lot about a company by its mission statement. Don’t have one? Now might be a good time to create one and post it here. A good mission statement tells you what drives a company to do what it does.

Company policies – Are there company policies that are particularly important to your business? Perhaps your unlimited paternity/maternity leave policy has endeared you to employees across the company. This is a good place to talk about that.

Executive profiles – A company is only as strong as its executive leadership. This is a good place to show off who’s occupying the corner offices. Write a nice bio about each executive that includes what they do, how long they’ve been at it, and what got them to where they are.
